About RMeS training
The RMeS research school and network is organized to advance knowledge on media and to educate young scholars, both PhD candidates and promising RMa students, in classical and cutting edge theories and methodologies in media studies, and to offer them an opportunity to start building a network. The training and education programme for PhD candidates is aimed at an interdisciplinary instruction in various debates and perspectives in media studies research. RMa students in this field have the opportunity to participate in the curriculum offered nationally by RMeS, alongside the local programmes. The programme stimulates mutual contacts and later transfers between RMa and PhD phases without the watering down of the differences between the two components. In some cases activities are organized primarily with PhD candidates in mind.
