Are you a MA student, PhD student or researcher who is interested in working with Dutch Twitter data? Upcoming Monday November 21th, 2022 we will organize our second Twi-XL user community event. During this event, we will introduce you to one of the key datasets in the Twi-XL collection: The Dutch TwiNL database, which contains about 50% of all Dutch-language tweets from 2011 up to now. We will elaborate ways of using the Twi-XL API entry point environment and present a use case of the data.

The workshop will have an informal setting with a specific focus on the of the key datasets in the Twi-XL collection: The Dutch TwiNL database. The goal of the workshop is to introduce you to the Jupiter Notebooks and help you understand how to work with them in order to retrieve specific Twitter data up to the current day. We will also demonstrate a user case of how this data is used to study newssharing behavior on Twitter in the form of URLS in Dutch Tweets.

Please note that you do not need any experience with jupyter notebooks or coding to participate in this workshop. This workshop is for everyone who wishes to work with Dutch Twitter data for research purposes.
