Description of the Association:
Created in 1993, and recently relocated to Amsterdam, ACE is an association dedicated to helping European producers co-produce with other countries. Every year the organisation selects 16 experienced professionals, who have established themselves in their own countries, to participate in its annual programme. The selected producers, each with their own project for co-production, take part in three workshops throughout the year which aim to reposition the producer as the helmsman of the production process in all its phases, from the writing of the screenplay to the commercialisation of the finished film. Having participated in the ACE programme, participants then have the opportunity to join the ACE Network, whose members regularly collaborate on projects and gather at all the major festivals and markets. Reflecting their creativity and dynamism, ACE producers are frequently featured among the award-winners in Cannes, Berlin and Venice, at the Oscars, European Film Awards, Césars etc.
Description of the position: Administration & Events Assistant
- Assisting with the administrative and financial tasks of the workshops in Amsterdam and abroad (invoicing, payments, financial reporting, budgets etc.)
- Assisting in the organisation and logistics of different events (booking flights, contacting services etc.)
- Updating and maintaining database information and the team’s calendar.
- Online research on films and producers.
- Office administration.
Internship (no possibility of follow up contract)
Organised with an independent spirit and a passion for the work. Good at working in a team, friendly, interested in film and the cinema industry.
Good experience of working with computer programmes (Excel, Word, Googlemaps, Photoshop and Indesign would be a plus).
Available to travel abroad for workshops in Helsinki and Prague.
Fluency in English is necessary. Any other European language is a bonus.
